March was a great month for Nintendo

Nintendo sales have been nothing short of amazing for the past year dominating the NPD charts. According to the NPD charts, the Wii sold more than 601 thousand systems and the DS sold more than than half a million. Nintendo is continuing its grip on holding the top spot and remaining the best selling systems with this current generation. “Nintendo systems accounted for 58.4 percent of the video game hardware sold in March, more than all other systems combined,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Consumers continue to be attracted to the wide range of software available and the great value of Nintendo systems.”
