Wii Vitality Sensor: Nintendo Get More Health Conscience

Certainly one of the strangest presentations at E3 this year was the announcement of the Wii Vitality Sensor, a trap gadget you shove on your finger and takes readings from your body’s inner workings, are Nintendo becoming a bunch of health nuts or is it just me?
The sensor is to be packaged with the new (if we can call it that) Wii Fit Plus, and has the option to not just take readings like heart rate, but can add relaxation to your stressful everyday lives, even perhaps sooth you into a peaceful sleep, though some people will probably fall asleep just looking at this thing anyway. I’m just confused into how you can play games with one of your hands shoved in one of these, it has been said that this gadget could be used while playing horror games, to take note of how your reactions effect your readings while playing, but I just don’t see how having one of these attached to you, can add anything but pain and misery. Certainly one for the casual gamer into the whole fitness regime, but for others, not one of Nintendo’s most proudest moments. We’ll see if the Vitality Sensor can gain more uses in future, perhaps it won’t turn out to be so bad after all, then again…………
