Facebook/Twitter Update Goes Public
Perhaps sensing our anxiousness, Xbox Live announced that the public preview of the Facebook/Twitter/Zune/Whatever-else would be available to apply for. Xbox live gold members can go to Xbox.com/XboxLiveUpdate to apply, and will have to fill out a survey/questionnaire. Players will be asked about their connection, how often they play, whether or not they have an HDTV, and how tall they are. (ok, I made that last one up.)
There is still no word on a release date for the update, and so far, players can only apply for the preview. A select few may have access as of yet, but it is still widely untouched.
I suggest that we still not hold our breath, but at least Microsoft is make strides towards this possibly monumental social connection.

Nice, I wish PS3 would get some cool stuff like this once and awhile..
If anyone turns on automatic 360 twitter updates and I follow them… I will instantly unfollow them, nothing personal I just dont want to get all that.
