Where are they now? – Sunset Riders

Hello everyone, and thank you for checking out the newest edition of Resume Play’s “Where are they now?” This week, we look a little closer at four of the rootinest, tootinest, ass-kicking cowboy bounty hunters of the west. In 1991, Konami formed the team of Billy, Steve, Bob, and Cormano in the name of good. The Sunset Riders took saddle and made their presence known to the SNES world. Their mission…bring in the scoundrel known as Richard Rose, dead or alive. Being that it only takes about a total of 45 minutes to do so, here is what our beloved bounty collectors have been up to since.

Lets start with Billy and Steve. After collecting the reward (assuming its $100,000 a piece) for bringing in Richard Rose, Billy and Steve decided to throw down their share into a low budget acting class. After doing a few short western films, they decided to give things a try in Hollywood. Three-hundred rejections later they finally landed a semi-big movie premier. They were the two guys in Young Guns that no one knew the names of. Ironically enough, they didn’t stick around in the sequel.

Bob, being the more vocal and fun-loving of the group used his 100K in marketing, and making a name for himself in the wrestling world. Having a successful career in the WWF (WWE?), he was inducted into the Hall of fame. The last time he was seen, it was on national television while he was getting a tombstone piledriver from The Undertaker. R.I.P.
And as for Cormano…shortly after receiving his reward money, he was deported from the United States. However, because of the dollar to peso ratio in Mexio, Cormano was able to buy a condominium and private section of the beach in Cancun, where he basically gets to lay out every day. This was the last seen photograph of Cormano.

Check us out next week for the newest edition of “Where Are They Now?”!
