About
We all spend countless hours sifting through the World Wide Web in search for other people that feel exactly the same you do about a certain part of your video game experience. We visit website after website only to become way too familiar with the little “x” box (no pun intended) at the top of our screen after seeing that the website is ran by robots, or hasn’t been updated in months, or even worse…are ran by biast staff members that don’t really care about what you play. We here at ResumePlay put our fellow gamers and readers as our number one priority. We make sure to keep you hooked with the updated, ground-breaking news you’ve really been searching for, write thorough, fun, and descriptive reviews over the games you are excited for and want to know more about, as well as the retro games you were addicted to growing up in a video-game world.
We have a plethora of game-advisors, writers, and editors that want to get to know you just as much as you want to get to know them, when you read their articles. The staff are all hardcore gamers and are always willing to answer any questions, get into great video-game debates, or just sit around and talk gaming for hours. ResumePlay records a podcast once a week to talk about the up-coming events in the VG world. We often have many of the staff members on the podcast, but could also be interested in seeing what you have to say as well! Let us know if you’re interested in making guest interviews, and let us know what you want to talk about, remember that this site is for you and your gaming needs!
Our review and news articles differ from other sites, being that our writer’s put a lot of emotion and personality into their posts. Don’t expect the same boring scoring system and run-through of the game that you will find at other boring run-through sites. We take pride in telling you exactly what we like and dislike about the game, and what you probably will as well. We don’t want good games to get bad reviews by people who have never played them. We assure you that all reviews are recorded by writers that have taken the time and effort to play whatever game is being reviewed. You are getting a first-hand review! We hope you decide to join the ResumePlay family, and sign up for our forums, check out our articles, and subscribe to our podcasts. We truly appreciate your interest in video-games and your interest in our website from gamer to gamer.

Resume Play’s Scoring System

1/5 – Terrible: These games suck. They fail in pretty much every way to the common gamer. They have bad scores in everything from graphics to game play. These games have major flaws that cannot be overlooked by even the most un-bias gamer. We do not recommend buying it, we do not recommend renting it, we don’t even recommend stealing it. If you are unfortunate enough to own one of these games, we recommend you use it for a coaster and/or a door stop.

2/5 – Bad: These games lack in most of the areas that are important to the gamer. There are a couple of points that separate these games from being absolutely terrible, but they are few and far between. There could be a few gamers out there that will enjoy these games, but for the most part they are generally disliked and not recommended by us.

3/5 – Ok: These games are alright. There are several good points and several bad points of them. Some gamers could love them, while others hate them. They are stale games that will probably give you no real enjoyment, but no real disappointment either. We recommend you rent these games and find out yourself whether they are worth the buy.

4/5 – Good: These games are enjoyed by the common gamer. They generally have positive scores in game play, control, storyline, and graphics. Most of the games that are given this score are owned by the writers scoring it. We recommend a purchase and predict your enjoyment.

5/5 – Great: These games are amazing! They surpass our expectations in most of the gaming categories and qualify as our “must have” games. They have storylines you won’t ever forget, amazing controls, fantastic character development, etc, etc, etc! We highly recommend you stop reading this right now and go purchase this game!
