Mega Man 10 Vintage Commercial

A throwback to the old amazing video game commercials we don’t get the privilege of seeing anymore because commercials for video games are nothing but CGI scenes that don’t show anything from the game. I would rather see this kid’s TV attack him; Capcom really knows how to tickle your retro spot with throwbacks like these. Has anybody actually seen this ran on TV? Please leave feedback if you have. GET MEGA THIS MARCH.

Playstation Move Doesn’t Support 4 Complete Players (According to Sony)

After a recent article speculating about the possible price of the Playstation Move, Gizmodo contacted Sony and asked them to clarify a few things about the Move, and how the “wands” and sub controllers actually connect to the PS3. Here is what Gizmodo was told by Sony.

Sony said, “Playstation Move doesn’t support 4 players in its full configuration”. A complete player needs at least TWO move wands, or ONE wand and ONE sub controller. So the Gladiator game in Sports Champions requires Two Wands for one player, but sony only allows 7 bluetooth connections at once. So the possibility of having 4 players with 8 wands is out of the question.

What makes this different from the Wii is that the nunchuck is wired to the wii-mote making both only one connection.

Sony also confirmed this: “Four PlayStation Move controllers can connect to a PS3 at one time (or two PlayStation Move Controllers and 2 PlayStation Move sub-controllers).”

This doesn’t mean there won’t be 4 players games for the Move, but they would only be using one wand per player. Which really hampers what developers have to work with.

EA Sports MMA Screenshots

MMA is all the hotness lately making it one of the most talked about sports in recent years. UFC released last year without any competition… until now. EA is creating their own game called EA Sports MMA being developed under EA Tiburon. The UFC game was widely received as a great entry into this new wrestling niche so it was only a matter of time before someone else leaped into the market. Controversies are abound with this game where fighters are breaking their contracts to be a part of the EA market. Remember people, it’s all boils down to businesses fighting eachother over money and ownership. The screenshots look pretty though.

Review: Major League Baseball 2K10

It’s that time of year again, baseball season. The last few years the two baseball games available, Sony’s MLB The Show and the cross-platform MLB 2K have competed for your hard earned cash. Sony and The Show series have made some of the best sports games ever with all their little details that make the experience great. 2K has struggled the past few years with getting a good base to build the franchise off of. In 2K8 they introduced the pitching and hitting with the right stick. This wasn’t bad in 2K8, being that it was their first year with it. 2K9 however took a step backwards making the right stick controls way too easy. There were other issues like frame-rate and the lack of the My Player mode that the 2K basketball games and MLB The Show have. Were these things fixed?

SOCOM 4 Screenshots lookin Good

We just got a new batch of SOCOM 4 screenshots, and the game is looking damn good. Sony also announced this week that SOCOM 4 can be fully-played with the new PlayStation Move controller (or a standard controller, of course). Looks like this’ll be another big game for a system on the rise.

Green Day: Rock Band gets Dated

The newest Rock Band retail game, focused solely on punk-rock group Green Day, is coming on June 8 to all three next-gen consoles. The game will be similar to the Beatles Rock Band, featuring character models of the band members, three-part vocal harmonies, a tour mode focusing on their career, and a large collection of their music.

The game will feature 47 tracks, all of which can be exported to a hard drive for use in the main Rock Band games. There are songs from throughout Green Day’s career, including modern hits like “Americana Idiot,” “Wake Me Up When September End,” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” alongside older songs like “Brain Stew” and “Jaded.” Gamers can also play the 6 previously released DLC tracks in the game with new animations and features.

Some gamers have questioned the choice of Green Day for the new music game, but among punk-rock bands they are definitely one of the biggest. They’ve won multiple Grammy Awards, have multi-platinum records, and are one of the few modern bands featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio. Harmonix and MTV call them the “band that jump-started the punk-pop revival and has continued to pave the way for American rock music into the 21st century.” After how long they’ve been around, they certainly have a lot of fans out there.

New Clash of the Titan Screens

We’ve been waiting a long time for the rumored God of War movie, but we’re getting a remake of Clash of the Titans instead. The action movie looks decent, but we’ll have to wait and see if the video game tie-in is worth the cash. The movie should certainly benefit from the mythology craze surrounding Kratos’ third chapter, but will gamers still be playing God of War 3 when the Clash game hits?

Take a look at these new screens, and let us know if you’d pick this up as an extra Greek mythos fix. Or, let us know your theory on why the baddie in screen 10 is so damn ugly.

Sports Champions and Move Party Screenshots

Both Sports Champions and Move Party could be the pack in game that comes with the Playstation Move. Sports Champions is basically Sony’s version of Wii Sports. The Gladiator Arena game was shown off and it didn’t look much different than what the Wii offers with the sword fighting. Move Party looks a lot like Microsoft’s Your In The Movies and has a ton of different mini games based around a party setting.

“The Shoot” Screenshots

Yet another of Playstation Move’s launch titles. This game is basically a shooting gallery game where you shoot robots, cowboys, and other baddies using the wand portion of the Move. This game didn’t really those much precision and looked very much like a Wii mini game. Hopefully this game evolves a little bit and becomes more than just a shooting gallery. Check out the screens below!

Eye Pet Screenshots and Details

Eye Pet is now confirmed to be a Playstation Move title. The game lets players interact with a small animal on screen while the Playstation Eye puts the player in the background on the tv. It is sort of hard to explain and is much easier to see in screenshots. So here ya go.

Well…here is the first marketing video for the Move. Once again…that little monkey is the devil I tell you!
