Still in a Pre-Alpha state, the origins podcast is a time we take to play through games that we felt were underappreciated, underplayed, or that simply wanted to play, but never got the time to. This week, and for the next three weeks, we will be playing through The Darkness, as we journy through the tale of the most bloody awful 21st birthday ever imagined. Taking part in said journy are Sebastian Maple, Rich Matney, and Sam Acton.
Today, we discuss the narrative to this point (the end of chapter 1), predict what the future holds, and reflect on the value of atmosphere in respect to immersion. Music at the break by Tongue of the Dog.
