So I’ve spent the last few days playing the beta for Blur, one of this spring’s high-octane street racers (the other one being Split/Second). Its being developed by Bizarre Creations, the makers of the Project Gotham Racing series. They were famous for how well made the PGR series was, and from the look of Blur so far, they are going to keep that good reputation.

Today at the X10 event Bungie and Microsoft announced that the Halo Reach Beta will be starting on May 3rd! You will need the HALO 3: ODST disc to access the beta so don’t go trading it back to GameStop just yet!. No word was given on how long or what would be included in the beta. It will probably be something similar to the HALO 3 beta. If you remember the H3 beta had 3 maps and only lasted a little while so it will be interesting to see what Bungie does this time. Also released was the Halo Reach box art which you will find to your left. There is much more news to come so stay tuned!
On November 19th, the multiplayer beta for Bad Company 2 will be coming to PS3 only. We’ve all heard some beta keys for Bad Company 2 were floating around because of a phishing scam, but this time around it’s all real. To get in on the exclusive beta, those from North America will have to pre-order the game at your local friendly neighbourhood Gamestop or Gamestop.com. Details on how Europe and Asia will get into the beta are yet to be annouced.
