Bad Company 2 has some serious competition, having arrived after the likes of the Modern Warfare series and the epic story that it told through the single player. Bad Company is up for the challenge, making a game that is vastly superior to the first while poking fun of the competition which helps set the mood that is the Bad Company atmosphere. Dice knows how to make a fun multiplayer experience, but the single player of the first bogged the title down and didn’t make the dent it needed to be that great title that gamers talk about for years. I can safely say Bad Company 2 is overall a better game, making the story more enjoyable to play through and creating a new layer to the multiplayer to keep you coming back for more. +Continue Reading
A nice looking trailer for a great looking game. Will it be able to bring down its competitor MW2 (or at least steal some of its fans) or will it the multiplayer be cast aside. The trailer shows off some great looking graphics, but like every bad trailer, would rather see more gameplay than cutscenes from the game.
This shouldn’t shock anyone that DICE announced a limited edition to one of the highly anticipated shooters of 2010. So what do you get out of the special features? This edition features six gameplay unlocks that you get the moment you turn the game on; much like the lvl. 65 gun on Call of Duty: World at War when you preorder it, you got it once you fired up the multiplayer. Look for the game in North America on March 2, 2010 and in Europe on March 5, 2010. Hit the jump for info and pics on the unlocks. +Continue Reading
It’s baaack. The classic series has returned to its roots, with developer DICE digging up the old-school hit that was Battlefield 1942, dusting it off, giving it a fresh coat of paint, and kicking it out the door. While not much has changed gameplay-wise since the olden-days, it has been streamlined and honed to a needle-point, providing one of the most exciting, if not innovative, experiences available for download.
