Developers are still working on refining the control system of the touch screen on Apple’s popular phone/iPod. Capcom is taking a stab at it with releasing this bite sized version of Resident Evil 4. The game is called Resident Evil 4: For Beginners, which contains the first two chapters from the actual retail release of Resident Evil 4 as well as a whole new tutorial level; which I’m sure teaches you the new control scheme. The game is fairly cheap at only $.99 and you at a later date be able to download the rest of the chapters as DLC, or you can purchase the full game and receive the later chapters as DLC.
If they port any Resident Evil game to the iPhone, I’m glad that it’s this one which is the best in the series. The game features Multi-Touch controls, but it does look to have the virtual joystick which only works about half the time; but they might have refined it in this release. The game is basically a straight port of the RE4; seeing this on the iPhone is actually very exciting and could open up more ports of other games that could work as well. Go give it a shot, I’m sure it’s worth your ninety-nine pennies.

I would have to say the Silent Hill games are the ones that creeped me out the most. Read on to find out what the rest of the staff choose for their favorite Halloween related or scary game. That one game that just screams Halloween, or gives them the creeps. You know… those games that make you glance over your shoulder late at night to make sure Pyramid Head isn’t lurking in the darkest corners of your home waiting to drag you away…
