After a lot of complaints and disputes Microsoft has taken a proactive step and is giving users the ability to list their race, religion, and sexual orientation in their Gamertags and profiles. In months past there were numerous complaints from Live Users being banned for having these things on their account and not in an offensive manner.
Microsoft has done a pretty great thing here, they looked at their policy, realized it needed to be changed to accommodate these people and they changed it. Typically large businesses usually don’t budge in these situations but Microsoft has always listened to their users and made changes accordingly.

The open world game Just Cause 2 has made its way in demo form to the Xbox 360. If you like open world games you should definitely check this game out. If your still not sure…check out the trailer above.
Ok…so it’s not all that hard to believe that bungie would make a trailer to build hype for the reach beta coming up on May 3rd. But it has JETPACKS!!! This trailer looks very real and is most likely not a hoax. It was leaked by a Taiwanese site called GNN. It also shows loadouts, assassinations, and did i mention JETPACKS!!! New weapons and game modes are also shown. If this trailer is real, which it probably is, this is going to be totally different than any Halo game we have ever seen.
It was rumored a while back that a new Tecmo Bowl game would be making its way to Xbox and PS3. Now it is finally official with Tecmo releasing the details and even some screenshots on Tecmo Bowl Throwback. The game will feature new updated graphics but will have the ability to switch back and forth between the old school and new school looks sort of like Monkey Island did last year.
Most importantly it will have online multiplayer and even leaderboards! It also has customizable teams and rosters and will feature 32 teams in total. All 3 game modes from the original will also be returning so you can play an entire season or just head out for the pro bowl. The game will be releasing some time this spring but for now you can check out the screens below!
Greed Corps is a RTS for XBLA that is unique in many ways. It creates tension in the game by forcing players to deal with terrain that is, well, destroying itself. Wholly an endurance game, and set up for multiplayer use, it is intriguing and unfortunately flawed.
Super Street Fighter IV is coming out later this spring in April. The game is meant to ride on the hype of last years release which was just Street Fighter IV. I don’t know much about street fighter so I can only guess that this one is more…super? Either way, there are some new costumes available for multiple characters. Not sure if these are all that important but if you can get something for free just for putting your name down early I suggest you do so. Check out screens of the costumes below!
A demo of 2KSports’s baseball sim is currently available on Xbox live and will be available on the PSN March 4. The demo gives players an opportunity to replay the 2009 World Series in three-inning increments. MLB 2K10, set for a multiplatform release on March 2, has received much press for a contest that awards one millions dollars to the first player to pitch a perfect game. The perfect game has to be pitched on a specific gameplay mode and filmed for verification.
Well now that Splinter Cell Conviction’s release date is finally set in stone, its no wonder Ubisoft is showing off more of the game and starting that ever present hype machine. This trailer is meant to give you a look at the story and what Sam Fisher’s convictions are for this game. A lot of the gameplay in this trailer doesn’t look anything like the Splinter Cell we have all come to know. Hopefully thats a good thing and Conviction can live up to the rest of the sequels that have recently released.
The Skate series in the past few years has really been the place to go for a great skating experience. With Tony Hawk Ride not selling too badly its up to Skate to show Tony where he really belongs. I have never gotten into the Skate series, but even with my short time playing the games I can understand why people prefer them. I loved the earlier Tony Hawk games but have since grown tired of the skating genre all together. Maybe Skate 3 will change that for me. Check out the screens below!
The first Halo Reach ViDoc was just released and shows off some pretty interesting stuff. New Weapons, vehicles, gameplay options, and enemies are all shown. It really looks like Bungie is going back to the original Halo with a more wide open campaign instead of a tightly scripted one akin to Halo 3.
Well with all these other big Microsoft titles getting so much press, you know Peter Molenuex couldn’t be outdone. Lionhead brings a developer diary and even some screenshots for us to feast our eyes on. We’re sure that no matter what, Fable III will be simply oustanding, terrific, and any other cliche’ word Peter can think of. Check the screens out below!
